This video is just a test of effects and voices, not the real thing.
You guys need to get on youtube with your horses!!!!
Really lovin’ this series!
Okay, Splash is NOT a bad horse, but he has his problems.
I’m trying my best to curb his rearing. It’s not the saddle(Circle Y)-he loves it. It’s not his health(vet checked him). It must just be a habit.
I’m trying some of the helpful suggestions you guys came up with and so far he hasn’t resorted to his hind legs all morning! I will treat him for that. Thanks every one!
You listen up, Splash!
Well, today I trimmed Splash’s hoofs and bought a really nice saddle pad at a yard sale for only a dollar. Splash’s rearing has worsened and I don’t know what to do. He nearly threw me yesterday, so it has to stop. I’m trying to ignore him when he does and reward him when he doesn’t. Any tips would be helpful. Colleen’s horse is named Fish, for some reason. Well, I’m going to go work on Splash. At least he doesn’t buck. I’d never be able to cope with that!
I kept the bus in sight the whole way; I couldn’t remember how to get to school.
Why am I following the bus? Why am I even going to school? This is ridiculous!
The bus drove on, twisting along so many roads, I nearly lost my mind trying not to loose it. When it finally pulled up to the school, I was sweating like a racehorse—no pun intended. Without thinking I started nibbling the scarce grass there was in the school yard, until I realized what I was doing and stopped. The kids poured out of the school bus and lined up to go inside. They began to murmur and whisper excitedly, pointing at me. I listened and caught nearly all of the conversation.
“Look! There’s a horse over there!”
“Whose is it?”
“One of the teachers’, maybe.”
“Naw, they wouldn’t ride a horse to school–Hey! It isn’t even tied up!”
“Hey, guys, I’m going to see if I can touch it.”
A, maybe fourteen, or fifteen year old girl slipped out of line and started slowly towards me. “Hey, horsy,” she said in a soothing tone, as if I were a flighty mustang who would suddenly gallop away. I made no such move, and she wavered.
“What are you waiting for?!” Someone shouted.
“Yeah, chickened out, did ya, Jenny!?”
“Sssshhttt!” Jenny hissed as she crept a little closer.
It felt silly, the whole thing; me, the girl who used to be the least noticed in school, who was now the center of attention, and nobody knew who I was! Jenny reached out and touched me on the nose, really quickly.
“Scaredy cat!” one of the kids jeered. “That was nothing! I could have done it longer.”
Jenny’s eyes said she doubted that. I made a quick decision.
I would talk to Jenny.
“Uh,” My voice barely audible.”Jenny?”
And she freaked out…totally.
She jerked away as if I’d bit her and stumbled into…oops, the teacher,Mrs.Maggi.
“Jenny! What are you doing!?”Her face wasn’t cheerful. “Leave that horse alone and get back in line!”
Jenny did. As she followed the others into school, she gave me a look that said she’d be looking for me later.
Best Breyer Horse movie EVER!! A must watch!!!
